A day when we reflect on the terrible acts that manifest when racism and an inability to see the inherent value in every human being goes unchecked and unchallenged. It’s a day when we remember the truth - that whole generations were taken from their families; a day to recognise the continued impact such acts have on families today; and a day to acknowledge that there are still some finding their way home.
