Join Our Team – Project Support Officer




The Creative Arts Alliance (CAA) invites suitable applicants to submit an expression of interest (EOI) for its part time (20 hours per week) Project Support Officer position. The suitable candidate will provide administration and project support to the Manager of the Regional Arts Service Network (RASN) within SEQ-North region (Gympie, Noosa, Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay, Somerset, Redlands). The Project Support Officer Position is a part-time (up to 20hrs a week), fixed term contract until 30 June 2021 with the possibility of extending on receipt of successful funding. A 3-month probationary period applies to the contract to ensure a good fit with CAA. Expected salary for the position is Level 3 LGA (up to $50,000 per year pro-rata) plus a 9.5% super contribution and Workcover. The hours can be worked on approved flexible arrangement as negotiated between CAA Manager and the applicant.  Laptop and phone are not initially supplied as part of the position. Successful applicants should also have their own transport. Whilst the current role is 20 hours per week, there may be additional hours available on a project to project basis.


The preferred candidate is anticipated to start from the week of 15st June 2020.  This position is ideally based in Moreton Bay (Caboolture Hub where CAA has a studio residence) but may be serviced online while Covid-19 restrictions apply to Local Government areas. Applicants from other areas within SEQN are still encouraged to apply – consideration may be given to alternate work locations and models. This position may involve occasional travel within the Redlands, Moreton Bay, Somerset, Sunshine Coast, Noosa and Gympie LGA’s. Occasional travel to Brisbane may also required, so it will be preferable if applicants can demonstrate a reasonable level of mobility and flexibility.
