Club Create – Moreton Bay young artists’ program – Applications closed

Club Create, delivered by Creative Arts Alliance, builds upon the successful pilot program (The Saturday Club) developed by Moreton Bay Regional Council Galleries in partnership with QUT Widening Participation, which offered creative and career development for young visual artists.

Club Create will offer Moreton Bay young people with a passion or interest in the visual arts an opportunity to take part in an 8-week intensive from July – September 2020.

  • Increased industry connections and knowledge through participating in a series of artist talks led by leading local practitioners and industry representatives
  • Mapping of possible career and study pathways in visual arts relevant to their skills and interest areas

Over 8 weeks, selected participants will take part in:

  • Artist Talks held on Wednesdays (1.5 hours)
  • Creative or professional development workshops (2hrs) held weekly on Saturdays
  • One on One mentorship sessions with our lead facilitator (1-2 hours per participant throughout the project)
